Christmas Joy

In spite of a really crazy month, we managed to squeeze in a few fun Christmas activities.

Elizabeth's one request was that we make cut-out cookies.

The kids had such fun icing them. I iced a few myself to make sure we had some that were certified slobber-free. Come on, we are all moms here, you know how it goes!!!

The aftermath!

Yum...

Ryan's family usually does these cookies too. We had a blast doing them together last year. Even Ryan and his brother got into decorating the cookies. lol I don't know why, but we didn't get around to it this year.

We did have a wonderful Christmas! It was Gabriel's first. We don't do the tree/santa, or much in the way of gifts, but we play games, eat and cook all kinds of goodies, watch movies, and just spend valuable time together. Gabriel got his first taste of BBQ chicken and I think it was the highlight of his holiday. :-)

I'm glad you guys are all moved in and were able to relax! I'm sure it was wonderful!
