Creativity
The opposite of consumption is production. It takes far more time and energy to create something than to consume something. This is my first visit here. I found you because of your comment about your daughter reading at TG's. I have a talker/reader too. ;-)
I have a pair of little shoes just like that. I bought them and didn't even have a baby! I put them on a shelf with other *pink* things!
I did get to loan them out for a while to a sweet little girl, so I guess it wasn't a total waste!
