White
WHITES are motivated by PEACE, seek independence
and require kindness. They resist
confrontation at all costs. (Feeling good is
more important than being good.) They are
typically quiet by nature, they process
things very deeply and objectively, and they
are by far the best listeners of all the
colors. They respect people who are kind, but
recoil from perceived hostility or verbal
battle.
WHITES need their quiet independence and refuse to
be controlled by others. WHITES want to do
things their own way, in their own time. They
ask little of others, and resent others
demanding much of them. WHITES are much
stronger than people think because they dont
reveal their feelings. WHITES are kind,
non-discriminate, patient and can be
indecisive, timid, and silently stubborn.
When you deal with a WHITE, be kind, accept
(and support) their individuality, and look
for nonverbal clues to their feelings.
What Color Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
I did this quiz on a whim, and it actually describes me pretty well. I'm not surprised though, because I noticed that the quiz is set up in sets of four, each characteristic (which results in a color) typical of a particular personality type. I know that I have a phlegmatic personality so I was not surprised to find that almost all the characteristics I checked were #3. #1 characteristics were choleric, #2's were melancholy, and #4's were sanguine, although the quiz did not say this. (I'd be willing to guess that cholerics would be red, melancholies blue, and sanguines yellow.)
I've been wanting to blog more about personality types and other things that can be either labels or tools to understanding, based on how you use them (love languages, learning modality, birth order, and so on). This might be a good jumping-off place.
But for now I have a few minutes of quiet so I am off to attack another portion of clutter. I'll try to write more about this later in the week.

Would you (RED) like to guess (RED) what color your (RED) sister's husband (RED) came out to be?
Surprised? Heh, heh, heh I didn't even need to take their quiz to know that.
I'll be a great case study for you of you want to get into first born, product of environment, survival-mode, adrenaline-junkie, T-rex guy meets the life-altering power of Jesus Christ! The outcome isn't Mr. Rogers! ;o)
Hi Stephanie,
You and I are both WHITES... :) It pegged me right off the top, "They resist confrontation at all costs." I am taking PSY 103, Personalities and Adjustments, and it so funny that every evaluation I have taken has come back with that same comment. HHHHmmm, think I avoid conflict?! You BET, at ALL cost. :)
Very fun! I also will have one to share with you, as soon as I can find it in my class notes.
You would never guess what color I was/is/have been/will be. A soft light blue pastel with touches of white and shades of yellow.
Of course you knew that would be my color.
RED all the way here. lol (blushing) Oh wait, I don't do that! I am not easily embarrassed....
White, white, white. For some reason, it was no surprise.
Pastor Steve, I never would have guessed that you were RED. Just kidding of course.
Windy, we seem to have a lot in common. Yep, the part about resisting confrontation, that's me.
Um, is it just me, or does anyone else think Pastor Billy is fibbing about his results??! *L*
Urka, really, you are red? :) You seem more low-key to me. I guess not?
Leah, I would have thought you were blue. Hmmmmm...
Hi Steph,
Left you a message on my blog... :) Could have left here.
Stephanie,
Here is the test I was talking about... This site is fun, although, I do not know the reliability of the outcome, it is still fun! :) We took the MBTI, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, in class and that one has a 75% accuracy rate. I have taken the one from the website and the results were the same... go figure. LOL

Yea, I didn't figure I'd be so high strung. haha I think I really am more relaxed than the test showed, but at the same time I can be very "sassy" as Ryan would put it. :D
