Show and Tell Friday: 70's Mugs
Last time we visited Billy's parents, we came back with several boxes of wonderful antiques and household items (true to their generous nature). I'm not normally a fan of 70's stuff, but I thought these adorable little mugs would be perfect kid cups, and I was right. My children think they are the greatest thing and they've all but replaced the unattractive plastic we've used forever. Bright colors, cheerful designs, they are sturdy and stackable. Can't get much better than that!
Show and Tell Friday is hosted by Kelli.

VERY nice and oh so much better than plastic. I am not a plastic fan. I love glass, pottery, etc.

AAACCKKKK!!!! Are you calling 70's stuff antiques!!!???!!! =) I remember using cups like that and I was a teenager!!! LOL
No, no! This falls under the category of "household items"! :)
You have some the coolest stuff to share.
These cups reminded me of tupperware set that we had when I was little. We'd make lemonade and I'd sit on the porch and have a little tea party by myself (with my stuffed friends). FUN!!!
Oh girl you are taking me back to my college days...
How fun and perfectly 70's!
Those are really cute!
Oh My Gosh! I received similar ones at my wedding shower in 1988 and was grasping for words to make a polite comment about them!
Now, I kinda like them! Too Funny!
I remember my mom having some of these in the 70's...hers were white with either blue or orange polka dots on them:-) xox
Oh my goodness... My daughter would LOVE those mugs! She's been collecting retro stuff like that since she was a teen. Yesterday I was able to find another ceramic mushroom cannister for her at a yard sale for a dollar, one I know she will like. I think you'd like her kitchen. :) Thanks for sharing! Blessings, Debra
Wow, those sure bring back memories! I never had those cups, but the patterns on them are very, very 1968!! I am certain I made myself a couple of outfits from some pique fabric with that exact yellow and orange flower print during the summer before my senior year in high school! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
I agree, they are adorable!!! Such fun colors!
